I work for Network Engineering, which is a part of Network Engineering and Services, which is located in various parts of the Digital Computer Lab and the Savoy Warehoue.

Network Engineering is headed up by Charley Kline. One of 5 group members, my primary responsibilities include the terminal servers, ISDN and T1s, and Multicast support.

I've been learning a lot about routers and networking, to add to the switching knowledge that I used when I was a member of the Network Design Office (NDO). I recently renewed my Cisco CCNP(tm) certification. For more information about Cisco's Carreer Certification program, visit Cisco's Certifications website

Here's an outline for a talk about upgrading a network and emerging technologies that I gave to some local K-12 networking staff some time ago.

I have been to Interop in the past, most recently September 2000.

I've also been to Cisco Networkers three times. Here's the trip report from the 1999 trip.
